Providing Quality Service Since 1986
Our History
Phil Groves began working in the family business in 1976. Over the next decade, he built his expertise in everything from sewer cleaning and pipe replacement to excavation, leak detection and repairing broken water mains. By 1986, Phil and his wife, Darlene, co-founded Phil Groves Sewer Services Inc. in Burlington, Ontario.
Phil handled the service calls while Darlene kept operations running smoothly in the office. Back then, the tools of the trade were sewer machines and hand rods. Today, our team uses modern technology such as video inspection cameras, electronic locators, and advanced relining systems to diagnose and repair sewer issues quickly and efficiently.
Our first employee joined in 1988, followed soon after by Ted Hologroski, who is still with us today. More than 35 years later, we remain a family-owned and operated business serving homeowners, businesses, and municipalities across Hamilton and the surrounding region.
Giving Back to the Community
At Phil Groves Sewer Services, we believe in supporting the community that supports us. We’ve participated in the Flamborough Santa Claus Parade, helped raise funds for the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice at the Winona Peach Festival and continue to look for ways to give back locally.
