Septic Bed Inspections

A septic bed inspection evaluates how well your leaching bed is dispersing wastewater and identifies early signs of failure.

Signs you may need a septic bed inspection

  • Sewage odours outdoors
  • Wet or spongy areas around the septic bed
  • Slow drains throughout the home
  • Gurgling plumbing
  • System backing up (especially after heavy use)
  • You’re buying or selling a home with septic

How inspections work

  1. We review system symptoms and site conditions
  2. We inspect the bed area and drainage performance
  3. We identify indicators of overload, saturation, or failure
  4. We recommend appropriate next steps (maintenance vs cleaning vs further assessment)

Seasonal note

Spring thaw and heavy rain can temporarily saturate beds — inspections help tell the difference between “weather stress” and a failing system.

We offer free quotes whenever possible. However, in some situations, a diagnostic assessment may be needed first (for example, a camera inspection) so that we can pinpoint the issue and provide an accurate quote, without any guessing.
